The overhanging eaves protect the expansive windows from direct sunlight during peak heat hours while maintaining your stunning desert views. The material palette was selected with both sustainability and visual integration in mind. The warm wood accents echo the colors of the natural sandstone, while the white surfaces reflect heat and provide a contemporary feel. The dark metal trimming adds definition to the architectural elements while referencing the shadows cast by desert formations. The extensive glazing isn’t just about the views - it’s strategically placed to optimize natural light throughout the day while minimizing heat gain. The glass railings on the terraces maintain unobstructed sightlines while providing necessary safety features.
